Help your dog feel calm, safe, and happy home alone

Without crying, panicking, or distress every time you leave

Does your dog struggle the moment you walk out the door?

For many guardians, separation anxiety doesn’t just affect the dog — it slowly shrinks your life too. Leaving the house feels stressful. Plans revolve around your dog. You watch the camera with a knot in your stomach, listening to barking, crying, or pacing, and wondering what else you could possibly try.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and you’re not failing your dog.

A proven, supportive path out of separation anxiety

The Home Alone Program is a 3-month fully supported private coaching journey designed to help your dog learn that being home alone is safe — and to give you your freedom back.

This is not a quick fix, a one-off session, or a generic plan.
It’s a structured, ethical, science-led process that addresses the whole dog, not just the symptoms you see on camera.

Many of the guardians I work with arrive feeling exhausted, emotional, and sceptical — convinced they’ve already “tried everything”.

This program exists for exactly those cases.

Who this program is for

This program is designed for committed dog guardians who:

  • Want real, lasting change - not generic quick fixes.

  • Are willing to follow a gradual, humane desensitization process and suspend stressful absences

  • Value expert guidance, accountability, and ongoing feedback

  • Understand that separation anxiety is an emotional response, not disobedience

If you’re looking for a fast workaround or something you can “just try”, this won’t be the right fit. If you want a clear plan, daily guidance, and professional support at every step - it likely will be.

What’s included in the Home Alone Program

Every dog is different, which is why this program is personalized and adaptive, rather than fixed or templated.

  • Comprehensive behaviour, wellness, and lifestyle deep-dive

  • Daily separation desensitization exercises

    Supporting your learning between sessions.

  • Collaboration with your wider care team
Including vets or other behaviour professionals when appropriate.

Why this approach works

Separation anxiety isn’t about teaching a dog to “cope”. It’s about changing how they feel when they’re alone.

That requires:

  • Precision

  • Consistency

  • Emotional safety

  • And expert oversight

This program provides the structure, accountability, and reassurance most guardians are missing when trying to do this alone.

This could be you…

  • The short (and unsexy) answer is no you cannot.

Everytime your dog is left alone and panics, they are patterning both that behaviour and that intensely negative feeling. That makes our job impossible as we work to overcome that negative association.

A big part of the beginning of our work together is creating management strategies so that you can still go to work or go out for dinner while making sure your dog isn’t left completely by themselves. We work to build your dog’s village so you can still live your life while helping your dog be successful.

This isn’t forever BUT it is essential that we pause all alone-time that casues panic. Otherwise - to be totally honest - you will be wasting your time and money.

  • All separation anxiety work is 100% remote meaning that we can work together no matter where you live and you can definitely work with me while wearing sweatpants (full disclosure - I will be too).

Working remotely allows me to review your dogs behaviours in real-time and I can see what your dog does when YOU leave the house, not when some weird lady comes over smelling like hot dogs.

I teach you how to teach your dog so you can carry on your training success far beyond once our work together is finished.

And don’t worry if you’re not techy! We use super user-friendly platforms like Zoom and Google Drive and I’ll help you through it all.

  • Separation anxiety is a complex condition and treatment often takes months and sometimes years and is not always linear.

Separation anxiety is impacted by a variety of factors, only some of which are in our control (genetics, past experiences, ability to manage stressors, time available to train, etc).

While progress is variable for each dog, by structuring our program first by addressing foundational factors and then tackling desensitization strategies, we have the best plan of attack for building lasting success. Progress IS possible.

We go at your dogs pace increasing their time left alone as they are comfortable - sometimes this increase is seconds, sometimes it’s minutes - but by going at your dog’s pace we avoid pushing too far and backsliding.

At the end of our time together, you may have reached your alone time goals and if so, yay!! You may not have reached your ultimate goal but you feel confident in continuing the training on your own. You may also decide you’d like to continue our work together and book additional months.

  • How your dog moves can tell us a lot about how they are feeling in their bodies and it is essential that we ensure your dog is feeling their best physically before beginning a training program, both from an ethical and efficacy standpoint.

Unmanaged pain/discomfort (whether it’s from gut issues, allergies, or musculoskeltal concerns) can have huge impacts on separation anxiety. It can make dogs “clingier”, have a difficult time coping with stressors, and have a hard time settling.

As a Dynamic Dog Practitioner, I am qualified to conduct formal gait and movement analysis. By exploring how your dog moves and performs all activities of daily living, we can often uncover some sneaky signs of discomfort that you can then work with your vet to resolve. I write a report to send to your vet for all dogs working with me.

  • I very much understand this feeling and I have so much respect for the amount of care and love you’ve shown your dog to get to this point.

In our work together, we dig deeper than just surface-level training to try and address ALL the factors that impact training success. We also ensure that we go at your dogs pace, meaning that we are less likely to push them too far and have a big setback.

  • Within 24 hours after your initial consultation, I will send you over your first steps in your dog’s personalized training plan in a digital workbook that will your one-stop-shop for all things training.

I pop into your workbook every day and provide feedback on the tasks you’ve completed. This might include reviewing videos you send, responding to voice notes, and sending texts.

As we progress in the program, I will also be writing you desensitization exercises every day for you to complete based on how your dog did staying alone the day previously.

This means you get my eyes on your dog every single day.

Not only that, but you have access to me anytime via WhatsApp so you don’t have to waste a second second-guessing or figuring out something on your own - I got you!
